I bought Snowcake a while ago to test on my interior hard surfaces in the cabin of my Nissan 370Z. I was not disappointed, and it worked just as well as all of the other Polishangel products I have purchased, still being one of my all time favorite detailing products company. The product is very simple to use. Just clean your interior hard surfaces (everything but the glass) such as interior plastic components, dash boards, the lower plastic covers used on most seating surfaces inside the cabin, door sills, plastic door cards, plastic covers on the A, B, and C pillars used in most vehicles, and any other plastic bits in the cabin. The product itself is very simple to use. After you have cleaned the surfaces you want to protect using a quality interior cleaning chemical such as Polishangel interior CLEANING chemical such as Intimate interior spray cleaner (foaming) which is one of my favorite interior cleaners due to it's SCENT alone! It's scent is one of the best smelling interior products on the market today and one of the best smelling detailing chemicals I have ever used in over 45+ years of detailing. Intimate is very simple to utilize, just spray, allow to dwell a minute or two to allow the chemical to start breaking down any contaminants on the plastic surfaces, you can then agitate with a soft brush, which is what I do, in order to help loosen any contamination, ground in dirt, etc. so it can easily be wiped away with a dampened microfiber cloth. I personally use a 12x12 gauntlet microfiber cloth, which is nice and thick, and durable too, helping to quickly mop up any residue on the surface, leaving the surface perfectly clean and ready for the application of the Snowcake plastic surface protectant and conditioner. I also will dilute Polishangel Soft (which is a dilutable foaming cleaner which can also be used on fabrics, or just about anything inside the cabin except glass, and it has the same wonderful scent as Intimate interior cleaner spray. Both Soft and Intimate do a really nice job on the "cleaning" portion required pre-clean step (you always want to ensure a surface is as clean as possible BEFORE applying the Snowcake as the protectant and conditioning step. After the surfaces you want to protect are clean, then you simply take an applicator, I personally like those small foam applicators which allow me to apply the Snowcake evenly across all the surfaces. The reason I personally prefer the foam applicators is because they dispense the Snowcake onto the plastics better in my opinion. Those microfibers applicator pads that are so popular today soak in too much of the chemical, and whilst they work (I have tested them several times), they soak up too much of the chemical, which is not a good value. Even those newer style microfiber applicators which have the internal plastic barrier to help prevent absorption of the chemical, still absorb far too much of the chemical, although they are better than the traditional microfiber applicators, which truly do soak up far too much of the chemical, not dispersing fully onto the areas being protected. They work, but I just don't like wasting too much of the chemical so I personally use the foam applicators. I have always enjoyed using the foam applicators for applying most chemicals onto the surface. Simply dispense a decent amount onto the foam applicator to "prime" the pad with some of the chemical. Then simply wipe the product onto all the plastic or vinyl surfaces you have cleaned. I tend to wipe the areas a few times to ensure an even dispersion of the chemical onto the entire surface, and also to "work in" the product somewhat, although only the dispersion of the chemical across the surface is required really. I just "work it in" by continually wiping the area a few times, in a few different directions similar to the cross hatch pattern so commonly recommended for application of ceramic coatings on paintwork. Then I will allow the product to sit on the surface for a few minutes as I go around the entire interior applying the product to whatever hard points I have cleaned and want protected and conditioned with the Snowcake. Then, by the time I have completed the entire application process, I simply come back for a final buff using a plush microfiber cloth (usually a high count GSM cloth with over 500 GSM at least, but normally up to 1200 GSM, very thick and plush) microfiber cloths such as a 12x12 Gauntlet microfiber, which work perfectly for any interior cleaning such as plastics, leathers, carpets, upholstery, fabric seats, alcantara and any other interior surface. Snowcake leaves a subtle "darkening" effect to the plastics or surfaces protected which gives a very nice "rich" appearance to the surface(s) protected. That's it, it is a very simple process. The key is you want to clean your surfaces before applying Snowcake. Polishangel makes some of the best detailing products on the planet. I really enjoy using them.
