The Polishangel Master Polish II is either the first or second step in obtaining the best possible finish to your paintwork. Their MASTER COMPOUND is designed for heavier scratch removal, while the Master Polish II is usually the second step in a full "cutting and polishing" session on whatever vehicle you are working on. The accompanying Master Compound is also something I consider "essential" in the entire three or four step "polish system". These compound and polishes are some of the very best I have ever used in my 45+ years detailing vehicles. While they are certainly not cheap, I feel they are high quality products that or worthy of the additional cost, especially if you are a weekend "DIYer" at home or detailing enthusiast. They are highly effective polish and compound chemicals. They are very simple to use by anyone, even enthusiasts who may not have a not of polishing experience. You can pair them up with just about any polisher. I have six different polishers and they work great with any of them, Dual Action or Rotary. I personally like using a rotary because that's what I learned on so many years ago now. I also use a Dual Action polisher in certain circumstances, including polishing, refining polishing, or application of waxes and sealants by machine. Anything you have available will work fine. I would, however, highly recommend any novice to cutting and polishing choose to cut and polish using a high quality DUAL ACTION polisher rather than a rotary. The Rotary, whilst a really nice machine that can really produce some beautiful finishes on a vehicle in the hands of a skilled detailer that has a lot of experience with a rotary and what those nuances are with a rotary (which can easily burn through paint in the hands of a noice user without any training on a rotary). Novice polishers can still get stellar results using a good Dual Action polisher. I personally enjoy using a battery powered polisher. SPTA offers a really nice Dual Action with a 15 millimeter throw allowing for good paint correction ability and they come with two batteries and the charger, all for around $225 (in 2025 funds) which is an excellent deal. They also include a lot of accessories and a few pads, although I would NOT recommend you use those pads. Get yourself some decent pads to use, Polishangel offers their own pads which perfectly pair to the related compounds or polishes. If you are doing the full correction, you would use Polishangel Master COMPOUND first, then follow that with Master Polish II, then finish the work with any of their refining polishes and/or pre-wax cleansers. I like either "Escalate", "Palm Balm", or "Contour" as the final stage of refining the paintwork to the very best gloss, and clear glass like appearance to the paint. Then I will finish the session using my very favorite sealant which is "VIKING COAT" sealant. I maintain the finish with Viking Spritz spray sealant, which is one of the most hydrophobic spray sealants that I have ever used in 45 years of cleaning and polishing vehicles. Polishangel products are certainly not cheap, and there are a lot of other options available, but for me, I just enjoy using their products and they are work the extra costs. Everything I have ever purchased from Polishangel has worked better than expected and the brand quickly became my favorite detailing products brand which is why I am conveying my own personal experiences with their products. Escalate Final Polish is a really nice jeweling polish which took my paintwork to the next level as far as the polishing results. I was skeptical at first, thinking it wouldn't really make that much difference, but I was wrong, it really elevated the gloss and just refined the paintwork to a really beautiful and clear finish to the paint, deepening the gloss too, making it look like that "candy apple" glass like finish that all detailing enthusiasts prefer. That's what we are seeking with our paintwork, a superior finish that draws attention from any on-lookers. Another product that is a great option as the final step, or just before you are applying any carnauba wax, is called Polishangel PALM BALM. It preps and cleanses the paintwork, helping to remove any leftover contamination on the paint after washing, tar spots, smudges, etc. that washing alone can't remove. If you aren't polishing, then PALM BALM is the perfect pre-wax step, prepping the paint to receive the carnauba wax, and allowing the carnauba wax to properly bond to the paintwork, and also extending the durability of any carnauba wax allowing it to adhere to the paint. The other pre-wax product available from Polishangel is called CONTOUR, which is a carnauba wax infused pre-wax cleanser that is similar to the PALM BALM and essentially does similar prep to the paint, but adding even more gloss and shine, prior to applying any carnauba paste wax or spray wax. Master Sealant is also another fine option as a last step product.
